You are the egg man .. I am a little confused by your question and your homepage
I use iTunes and each time I load into it a new tune to play immediately, one that it does not recognise, it plays for a few seconds. then adjusts the sound level by reading the whole file, and then continues to play it.
In whatever player you are using this might always happen.
Does this happen only the first time you play a particular song?
Are you using limewire player, or another one?
