Do a virus scan with
AVG free (click on link) update it and do a scan, then follow the prompts.
Uninstall LW by going to C:\Program Files\LimeWire\uninstall.exe.
If you uninstalled through the add/remove prog, you may need to install it again and uninstall it the proper way.
