Try follow these steps to get connected -
1. Exit Morpheus , make sure its close completely first.
2. Open windows explorer and go to folder C:\Documents and Settings\*user\Application Data\ . *user is your windows username e.g Owner . This is a hidden folder , you'll have to enable 'show hidden/show system folders' in Control Panel>Folder Options first.
3. You should have a 'Morpheus' or 'Morpheus Ultra' subfolder in this directory. Delete or rename this folder e.g to 'Morpheus_sav'.
4. Download Morpheus WebCache.rar from link on the first post.
Install Winrar , can get from -
http://www.4shared.com/file/7427885/...nRAr_full.html
Open 'Morpheus WebCache.rar' with Winrar .
Open windows explorer , go to folder C:\Program Files\Morpheus (or Morpheus Ultra).
Extract MorphCache.net, WebCache.net and chc0.cfg to C:\Program Files\Morpheus or Morpheus Ultra folder (drag from Winrar and drop to the folder).
5. Run Morpheus , should be able to connect.
It's also a good idea to set Morpheus listening port to a fixed port , by default it is set to random. Open Preferences , select Internet Connection . Click on "Set incoming Gnutella port to" and key in port number i.e 16346 and click on the box on the left , ensure it's checked (ticked) .
If PC is behind hardware router/firewall, setup port forwarding on the router . You need to port forward the Gnutella listen port and 1 port above (Neonet port) e.g 16346 and 16347 .
As with all Gnutella client , need to setup port forward to get better query results and file transfers.
Check the status on the bottom of Morpheus window.
If status says 'firewalled' , you're behind router/firewall and need to set port forwarding.
The status should display 'connected' if evrything set up correctly.
Hope this helps
