Have you tried right-clicking the LW icon on desktop & changing (1) compatibility mode, (2) change to run as administrator ?

One option is Reinstallation Technique however that offline installer link for LW is inactive presently. You can find an offline LW installer link from Birdy's post: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/open-d...tml#post354839
