Ok when the people come from Rumainia (its a Roman language like French and Spain) and Hungaria (donīt know yet but sure not slavic) but this are also NO slavic languages...
I live in Europe and my parents are from Croatia (a slavic language)...
You should ask your teacher again, and if he thinks its a slavic language he should quit his job...
