Bearshare has to be the ultimate

Hi folks.
I had problems with all other file sharing applications, like Frostwire and LW. However i have downloaded Bearshare version 5.1.0b25 along with the Bear Start utility. This was suggested by AaronWalkhouse in one of the forums and i gotta say im very impressed with the speed.
The only thing i cant work out now is how to disable my bloody ITunes software from starting up literally every time a song downloads!.
If anyones got any suggestions for that i'd be grateful.

In BearShare, go to Setup/iTunes and turn it off.
In iTunes, go into the settings and set it to not start when Windows boots up.

Hello again, i've got two more concerns regarding the BearStart utility:

1) Do i have to worry about the time limit, for instance will i eventually have to change something to reset the dates ?.

2) Is there a way i can stop the error message "This version of BearShare has expired" from popping up. It appears every time i log into my windows account, its even appearing on other user accounts.

1. No.

2. Go into Setup/Options and turn off "Launch BearShare on System Startup.

Thanks Aaron.

One more question then i'll leave this forum alone i promise....

How long does it generally take to download a song? Lets say the size is roughly 2.7 MB. For me it takes 3-4 munites on a good day, but on a bad day it can take 7 munites although this is rare.
BTW, my internet connection runs at 6.6Mb, but i notice that most of the sources you download MP3's from give readings as Dial-up connections.

Looks like you answered your own question there. ;]

No no no , only SOME of the ones i download from are dial-up, but i was just wondering what the general download time was for me or for anyobdy else.
Like i say i am using 6.6 MB broadband and most songs take 3-4 munites, 7 if its rare or bad lagg. I was only wondering what lengths of time it took for anyone else.
