My laptop is connected through the ''wireless route''. What I mean, is that the uneversity is blocking the port. So that mean the ''BearShare'' won't connect to the ''Internet''. So I can't open : Steam, LimeWire, every singel online games that you have to download, Kazaa, I can't connect to the ''webcam'' etc. Any solution?

Neither µTorrent or Azureus won't work. ''If BearShare'' don't work. Then I am definitely sure that µTorrent and Azureus will not work. Edit: Seems like it didn't work as i thought. Do you think it has something to do with my proxy? Last edited by drammen : January 11th, 2008 at 10:20 AM.

They are using the bittorrent protocol, not gnutella, and if you put the encryption in forced (always on) mode, it just may work. It has to be forced or it would be detected and blocked. Merely enabling it would still allow unencrypted connections. Can you do without the proxy? If you can't connect to anything without a proxy then you are better off renting a place outside the campus and getting your own internet account. Another good source of files are the binary newsgroups. See if the university has a good one, or try to connect to one outside the university.
