Vanished email text In Windows 10, it sometimes happens that a text typed in an email suddenly vanished as soon as I type the last word in the text. Why? Have tried Ctrl + Z, but nothing happened. I also tried the Re-cycle bin and Drafts, but again no luck. Can you please help? My thanks in advance. Joe B. |
I vaguely recall occasional problems with writing emails a couple years ago but the problem seemed to vanish. Perhaps in settings be sure you save email to a Draft copy every minute or so. This might help prevent the problem in its entirety. Another alternative is to write into a text document first and then copy-paste into the email. Perhaps NotePad or Word. |
Many thanks again for your prompt reply, and do, please, pardon me for replying rather late. At age 79, I have become a slowcoach, and forgetful, too...perhaps the price one has to pay for living longer?!... Your method worked very well indeed. I can now save the text to DRAFTS, and then send it off quite easily. Kind regards. Joe |
