whats what
 
is there anyone who can help i am new to comptuting . i have been trying to downlord full movies but just keep on getting just vidio clips how can i tell if its a full movie and what the diffrence between mb and kb.and to confuse me even more how do i tranfure it to a disc or is that burn it to a new disc ,if you can help please tell me in very simple trems thanks:confused: :confused:

thats right thanks for the other info that helps alot . do you known whats happering when i try and burn a cd, dvd, the message keeps coming up meger player error, thank again :)

That's how the Hard Drive manufacturers calculate bits & bytes. They use the decimal system (10^n) instead of the binary system (2^n). Since Computer are based on the latter system it is only consequential to use the same system on File System/Operating System level as well as in applications.

8 bit = 1 byte
1024 byte = 1 KB
1024 KB = 1 MB
1024 MB = 1 GB
