These volunteers keep the board organized and moving. Moderators are authorized to: (in order of increasing severity) Move posts to the correct forums. Many times, members post in the wrong forum. These off-topic posts may impede the normal operation of the forum. Edit posts. Moderators will edit posts that are offensive or break any of the House Rules. Delete posts. | Same Problem Here but this is a new problem. It worked a week ago or so. I'm also using Comcast, the latest version of Java, and the latest version of Limewire Pro. If this is really a new Comcast policy I think we might have heard more about it? Thanks. |

| I'm sure it isn't Comcast since I tried an older version of Limewire on an old laptop of mine and it still works fine. Since this new version worked for a while, I suspect it may have something to do with JAVA (my JAVA updated itself to a new version recently, Version 1.5.0 (build 1.5.0_04-b05)) Again, it isn't Comcast since older versions of your software with older versions of JAVA work fine. | Sgt I have comcast they do not block p2p but they do limit your upload bandwith with comcast I can download at 650KB but I am limited to 45KB up.

| I also get the same message since updating. "Loading User Interface" I left it on for 2 hours to see if it needed time to start up and it never moved from that message. I also brang the task manager up to see if I could end the program but it wasn't in the box of programs running. So it stays on the desktop and I have to shut my PC down to clear it. Limewire worked perfectly before I updated. 1. i'm running Windows XP no service packs 2. i don't have windows firewall activated, but i do have Mcaffe firewall which says Limewire has been allowed to access the net. 3. 512mb ram 4. 65.4 GB available 5. broadband 6.asdl BT voyage 105 modem 7. connecting from home 8. LW 4.9.23, java 1.5.0_03 9. AOL 10. no sharing connections 11. I have used limewire for about a year with no problems. |

 I downloaded an older version (4.0.7) It displayed the same message so I deleted the limewire. folder and all it works fine. I downloaded the new version and deleted the limewire. folder and it still hangs. So I have to stick with version (4.0.7) which is better than nothing. |
