hey, i have LimeWire 4.9.33, and i wanted to see the ports, but there are none. Any alternetives or any way i can solve this problem?

I'm not sure what you mean here. See the ports? You can do a port test for port 6346 which is the default LW uses, here: Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there?

There's other port tests you can use but you must have LW open at the same time. Using your browser go here: http://www.grc.com/port_6346.htm (Press Probe this port button) Does it say open or closed? You can change the port no.

LW's settings for ports is found here: LW's menu, Tools>Options>Advanced>Firewalls

it says Stealth. It doesnt say anything about open or close.

Ah so you have a connection problem. So why did you post in the General P2P Network Discussion section instead of the Connections Problems section?
Stealth means it can't properly test your port due to a firewall.

Did you configure your firewall so it allows LW full access (advisable not to have 2 active firewalls b/c they can interfere with each other); Firewall configuration instructions (click on link)

Can you give us a total desciption of your set up:
1. OS version? (eg: Windows 98)
2. What firewalls you have?
3. How much ram?
4. Hard Disk space available?
5. Connection type? (eg: dialup, broadband, cable, etc.)
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers?
7. Where are you trying to connect from (home, school, work, etc.)?
8. What version of Limewire (LW) & Java do you have? (Go to LW's menu Help>About LW...) Will show both LW & Java version.
9. Who is your isp provider (Internet Service Provider)?
10. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? If yes, please give details of set up.
11. Is this a your 1st try at LW or is this a new problem with an experienced user.

In any case, if you have Norton firewall, then go to the control panel, double click on Windoze Firewall, check the disable box. Then configure norton using Configuring Norton Internet Security

Also get the 3rd party patch for SP2; http://www.lvllord.de/?url=tools

If after doing the above still no connection, try these ports: 1111, 3500, 4008, 1203, 10000, 15189, 80, 20282, 22817, 443, 34599, 40475 & wait at least 20 mins for each one to try to connect. After changing port, go to menu bar, File>Connect.
