absolutely no luck with connecting limewire

hey guys, just posting this msg as I'm at the end of my tether, I've tried absolutely everything to get limewire connected and absolutely nothing is working. I have used limewire in the past and it's been fine but I've recently moved to a new ISP called "Be", I started using limewire with this new ISP on friday and it was working fine for about an hour then there was only one green bar at the bottom, since then I have not been able to get a connection with limewire whatsoever apart from one bar which is useless.
There have been some occassional times where it has gone up to three bars but this is still useless as I cant get any search results or download anything. I've basically tried everything from port forwarding to checking if my router is UPnP enabled to changing the port on the advanced section of LW section and absolutely nothing is working. Anyway heres all my settings, really hope someone can help me out, thanks

10. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there? It says 'your test worked'
11. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? If yes, please give details of set up. Yes sharing with two other computers on a router

You might want to check with your new ISP and see if they shape or throttle p2p...It could be a matter of certain times of the day...:rolleyes_2:

Have you enable UPnP ??
Also try changing your listening port to something between 49152 - 65535..
Make sure the two of you are using different listening ports..
Did you both Port Forward ?? If so did you both use separate static IPs

Let us know how that goes...:rolleyes_2:

the UPnP is enabled, i've changed the listening ports and they're both different, i've done port forwarding and everything else that has been suggested, i had a full five bars for a couple of hours yesterday but today i logged on and only got three bars, and that gradually dropped to one bar and now i've lost the connection, I dont understand why there is so much inconsistency in the connection, has anyone got any drastic measures?

I'm stummped...Are you sure you Port Forwarded correctly and where did you get the instructions to do so ???...Can you give me the link so I can have a look..:rolleyes_2:

i cant remember but i done port forwarding through the settings of the router or something, but basically the latest situation is that limewire will connect after i reset to the default settings but after a few hours the connection will go again, any ideas on how to solve this inconsistent connection?

plz ppl help me out, im getting really frustrated, i seem to be having a problem that seems quite common on the message board, limewire doesnt connect except on some occassions and when it does, it will lose the connection after a few hrs, i have supplied all my system details above, i cant find how to do port forwarding for a speedtouch 780, even though i dont know if it'll work because nothing seems to be working right now, plz plz plz help me out!

Here's the user guide for your router
http://www.speedtouchdsl.com/documentation/ST780WL/R610/UserGuide/HTML/SIP/wwhelp/wwhimpl/js/html/wwhelp.htm?single=false&context=ug&topic=init

Just from having a quick look, it seems very similar to this one listed on the port forward site
http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Thomson-Alcatel/SpeedTouch536/Limewire.htm

Have a look through & compare them...if things look the same, you could follow the instructions for the SpeedTouch536. Don't forget to set up a static IP address first. You'll find a link for that within the portforward instructions.
