Default I got a new comp and it has windows vista and cannot connect

every time I start LW, I loose ALL internet accessiblity. My msn and IE does not work and LW does not connect. But when I close LW completely, about 1 min later, my msn and IE will work and I can surf the net. I have allowed LW in my windows fire wall. And my connection bars in the lower left corner only the first bar is green and the firewall symbol is showing the it is on.

Anyone have any ideas?

James

NateDizzle...It has been found out that Vista, Limewire and McAfee don't mix...
This solution has helped many people to get everything running properly..
Can't Connect With VISTA!

That's not what that link suggests to do...
It says...
uninstall firewall, privacy service and spam killer
Not the whole program....

Unfortunatley yes, that's the only solution that we know of...It's a McAfee problem and until they fix it there's no other option...
You could always give them a ring and see if anything has changed...
