These volunteers keep the board organized and moving. Moderators are authorized to: (in order of increasing severity) Move posts to the correct forums. Many times, members post in the wrong forum. These off-topic posts may impede the normal operation of the forum. Edit posts. Moderators will edit posts that are offensive or break any of the House Rules. Delete posts. | Which File to Add? What file to I add into the box, it is defaulting to LimeWire 4. ?

| problems i stopped sharing my files like a lot of people and to solve this users have told me to go to tolls - options - add - then choose a file to share. i made a folder to share my files from, because i don't have my shared folder i lost. i don't mind losing the files, but now when i download songs they don't show up anywhere, they just disappear. i need to know if i can redownload limewire, because it is useless for me now. |

| Actually, I also downloaded it a second time and it did not fix the problem. However, I am now up and running again. If you follow the instructions above, you will be able to see the default folder that offers the files that you can chose from. MAke a folder in that area (on your PC) and then choose that particular one. It will not be the original, but you can also make different folders for different genres, ect. Hope that his helps. |

 I HATE LIMEWIRE I did the stupid thing of updating to this 4.0.7 b.s. Now when I try and preview a song it says the file type is not recognized. I dont see my shared files folder anywhere either and I tried that tools, options bit. What the heck is up? Any help would be great... otherwise I am Kaaza bound.. Thanks |

| i'm also encountering probs with my downloaded files..afta e download is complete i cant seem 2 find e file in e library..and i dun understand e steps "go to tools and options and etc"..this system is new..too new i guess..kazaa is still e best.. |

| finding downloaded music?????????? Once my music is downloaded how do you get it to a folder to put it on a cd? This is more trouble than I bargained for and I've emailed them for help but never received any! If problem persists I think I will contact the better business bureau! Any suggestions please help |

| i just downloaded an update for limewire now my "shared" folder is gone. i can't see wht i downloaded the stuff just goes somewhere. i dunno where it goes and how do i get my shared folder back with everything i downloaded???? HELP HELP HELP HELP PLEASE |

| i had the same stop sharing problem... all you have to do is make a new shared folder with the same username as the last shared folder you had, then you should have it back.
