Downlading a movie
 
how do you downlaod a movie that isnt incomplete, not corrupt or that will actually work? i mean everytime i downlaod a quicktime format it says, quicktime is missing the software to hadnle this which s unfortuanely not avaible on the quicktime server. and none of the wmv work or they are always corrup.t Seriously hwo dou download a movie that will work? any other times a p2p file sharing places i should use?
p.s. i have a mac.

The video is what it is. You can't do anything about it. You just have to find a version of it the isin't corrupt or incomplete. It would be a lot easier to just buy it though, don't you think?

WMV files all fail on LW4.8.1 & OS X
 
I've found that all WMV files are damaged and unusable when downloading with LW4.8.1 and Mac OS X 10.2.8.

The problem you're having with the .avi files is that they were compressed with the Intel Video CODEC, which is not available on OS X. They may play fine in Mac OS 9.x, but then again, they may not.

Any info on the corruption/issues with WMV files?
