| I have a Mac and when I first download the Limewire program the mac automatically created a iTunes playlist called "Limewire" and all audio downloads went into it and my Main library without any adjustments to prefs or anything else. ------------------- I now also have a PC with windows and a iTunes program BUT when I downloaded the Limewire program from Limewire it did not create a itunes playlist nor do the downloads go directly into my iTunes library. -------------- i have tried changing the prefs but it still goes into a seperate folder and then I have to drag and Drop. ---------------- Is the Mac version different then the Windows in that it automatically creates a playlist within iTunes and Windows can not do that OR is their something I need to do that I amd just not understanding ???? Thanks, Greg |

| If you have a look at the preferences of the LW for windows, you'll find some small differences to the mac version of LW. For a start, the mac version has the ability to automatically import the songs into iTunes. Whereas for windows, you need to manually add the songs as per THIS (click on link). But as far as the LW playlist within iTunes goes, then you probably don't have it set for windows. You'll need to go to LW's preferences, ie: Tools>Options>iTunes>Sharing & tick the option for Share my Music. Last edited by Lord of the Rings : September 7th, 2005 at 08:55 AM. |
