These volunteers keep the board organized and moving. Moderators are authorized to: (in order of increasing severity) Move posts to the correct forums. Many times, members post in the wrong forum. These off-topic posts may impede the normal operation of the forum. Edit posts. Moderators will edit posts that are offensive or break any of the House Rules. Delete posts.  new and don't know what to do what kind of file should i download to get a full lenght movie and in what format? help please don't know what i'm doing   |

 For movies probably avi, mpg/mpeg are the best ones. Others like wmv, mov, asf, ect tend to be spam, porn, and whatnot. Check files with Bitzi Web Lookup before downloading. It'll help you sort out if it's a good file or not. Also preview the file when it gets to 10% to check it's what the title says. See this thread for tips on searching and downloading files. How to find music(same principles apply to movies). BTW: This is the BearShare Forum. From your other post i take you should be using the LimeWire forum. LimeWire (Cross-platform)  .

| If you are using a recent version of BearShare, they limit the length of videos you can download. Try the version mentioned in this thread: Sticky: BearShare has been sabotaged. |

| hi im new to downloading i can manage to download and burn music to cd but cannot burn my dvd download to dvd cd what file should i use when downloading and can i burn from windows media player or do i need another form of burn file. please help. scotch stewart  |
