Filter Bug

Sleepedit: This thread has been merged

When you add a new filter rule, it works while you are in phex. If you exit phex and then attempt to start the app againt, it will not start. Here is the error log:

Feature request

Is there any way to filter all results except certain sha-1's

rerdely June 11th, 2008 08:31 AM

Cannot select filter

There is a checkbox. There is no way to check the box. If you edit the filter you can make it always on, but that's it.

I'm stupid

I see that you cannot select the filter until a search is active. Ignore my post.

you have a good point in that global filter rules would be nice. Those that will be remembered on next startup.

Filter Option

How about an option to display only the matches of the filter. I want to filter everything except a sha-1 that I specify. I would like to write a rule that says.

Hide everything except AVQYQICHTIV4A3RFKFUZDAMMKAYVAPS2 and BVQYQICHTIV4A3RFKFUZDAMMKAYVAPS3 and CAVQYQICHTIV4A3RFKFUZDAMMKAYVAPS

and so on...

please do keep this in one thread. There is no reason for making new threads about the same thing

Just open the rules dialog and read it.

You can specify:
- If these rules apply, then
- Do something
- Except if these other rules apply.

This should cover all your needs.

Good luck!

Still doesn't work

There is no option to hide everything...

I need to hide all of the results except the sha-1's I specify...

Any help would be appriciated.

Thanks,

Robert Erdely

Then you simply do:
- For all files (don't set any condition)
- Hide
- Except if the file has one of the sha1
