Why Is Frostwire Free??
 
I have recently downloaded frostwire but was given no option to pay or register, after visiting this fourum i'm a little concerned about the SCAMMING people are on about?!? Why do you not have to pay for frostwire??? is it completely Legal??? Someone i know downloaded this program in Oct 05 and paid about £15.00 for a life time registration and free downloads. Please post a reply so i can start downloading!!:confused:

FrostWire is a part of the "Open Source" project as an extension of LW, but with its own attributes & variations. ie: It's free. If you heard of anybody paying then I'm sorry to hear that. Why is fire fox free

Here's my spin on it.

There are still decent people in this world, whom do somethings just for the love of it. They believe in the sharing of their skills, and the helping of their fellows because they are in a position to do so, not because they can make a buck out of it.

The programmers whom develop freeware are no different from charity workers, or volunteers who help out at disasters, that just have a different skill set, and give to society in their own way.

I for one thank them for their generosity.
