Hi Everyone - I'm new here.

I like the LimeWire system, it's great.

But......

Sometimes I go in and there are part-downloaded things which 'need more sources' or are 'awaiting sources'.

When I click on 'resume' or 'find sources' sometimes they start downloading straight away !

Now why don't they do that automatically ?

Why does it need my manual intervention ?

This section is dedicated to Phex, a p2p program which connects to the same network as limewire but is developed by a community of developers instead of a company.

Sicne you already entered, why don't you give it a try?

Oh, sorry, it's all a bit confusing to me.

I thought I was on the Limewire forum..................

The Phex and LimeWire Forums are both inside the Gnutellaforums, which encompass different Gnutella clients.

How did you reach this board?
(Maybe we'll find some way to make sure that doesn't happen that often - you're not the only one to stumble over here... )

Well, anyway, I've got Limewire on my system, see, and under 'Help' it's got 'Forums'.

I clicked on that.

Can't remember much of the detail now, but by the time I'd registered and made my first post, I was over in this bit !

I know that it can be confusing at times, that many programs are in one forum, and I had my own share of blotches, so don't worry too much.
