I am trying to make a Gnutella client with GnucDNA in VB.net and I'm basically at a standstill. I've looked at guide after guide for Gnutella but none are very helpful and GnucDNA doesn't seem to work at all. All the guides I find are vague and, to me, useless. So here are my questions:

1. Is GnucDNA any use at all? If so, what would be a basic workflow for connecting to Gnutella with it in VB.NET?
2. If I were to not use GnucDNA, how would I be able to find my first peer and then find more peers?
3. How would I then run a query on those peers for files I am looking to download?
4. How would I download the file I want?

I would really appreciate any help. If you could point me to some source code that works, that would be extremely helpful.
