I posted two questions (Trish #1) nearly one week ago, had some 14 people read it and not one reply to it. What about the moderators? do you guys ever put out and try to help or are you just assuming that title and don't care to be bothered pitching in??????

surely, you guys will delete this out of embarrasment, but maybe, just maybe you will reply with something helpful and productive.

Well, your first question seemed to be a LimeWire-specific question, you should ask that in the LimeWire forum - or even better search for threads where people put the same question already.

As for your second question: 1) read the FAQ (people here like to pretend that nobody is engaging in copyright infringement on Gnutella) and 2) I have no idea what your problem was. I never purchased anything that I downloaded from Gnutella.

I would just like to say that I am a newbie & I have had some problems downloading & so I posted questions (some which I realise now have been answered before). I have had replies, but I also managed to find an awful lot of information about these things & more on my own by reading through the forum. This is a very informative site & I for one am very thankful that these people give their time & energies to help the rest of us who are just learning.

I just wish that I'd managed to find all of this before I had parted with £24.95 for some crap Shareaza rip-off called e-tomi which I got through the ultimatemovies download site.....BEWARE!!!!

Although I am having problems, I do feel that it is better & more pro-active to look around & learn in the process.

So....Thanks to all the Limewire guys & volunteers who help me to spend rather an unhealthy but fun amount of time learning online

Hmmmm You know I'm fairly new here, but when I've had problems, and start a new thread with the information I've needed to find out about I've been answered.

But one of the keys I've discovered is providing enough information.

It's hard to get help or for other's to assist if they don't have any information.

for example: I can't connect please help.

What does someone have to work with. Why should they reply.

Just my opinion but the Mods here do a good job, especially since they get nothing in return for what they do except the occasional thank you.

Just remember to provide as much information as possible when you do have a problem. You generally will get a quicker response from a member of the forum or Mod.

Who wants to answer a question they know nothing about. (Well there are those who would, but I would wonder about them)
