Something went wrong with LimeWire.
Maybe you're using the wrong version of Java?
(LimeWire is tested against and works best with with Sun's JRE, Java 1.4+)
The version of Java in your PATH is:
java version "1.5.0_02"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_02-b09)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_02-b09, mixed mode)

How did you install limewire? Did you use the RPM or ZIP files? Also, please let us know how you launch limewire.

i tried both, since i'm on kubuntu, i used alien on the rpm file. I tried launching it from terminal, and from the start menu in KDE. Limewire worked just fine before. this just happend one day, and reinstalling did not fix it. Since i have a norwegian version, i'm not sure what it is trying to load when i get this error, but i think it is "Kernel modules" in english, but not shure

Could you try the beta? We have changed a few things with the startup.

You can find the beta here:
