Limewire Error on Solaris/Java

Any help would be appreicated. Downloaded and unzipped LimeWire for Linux/Others amd running Solaris/Java, placed LimeWire folder in /usr/share directory, ran the shell script supplied by LimeWire in terminal mode and get this error:

syntax error at line 44: `potential_java_dirs=' unexpected

Grateful for any help, newbie to most of this, was SCO 3.2 systems admin way,way back when.

Thanks.

Hi, im pretty sure Solaris comes with the java SDK files but not J2re runtime..Did you install J2re? If so check to make the install is proper..Go here and see if the plug-in is active
http://www.bodo.com/javame.htm
If it isnt then you found the problem, if it is then ide start looking for a corrupt install of J2re..
Java 1.4.x works really well with LW and the 1.5.x is almost as good IMHO..
If java turns out to be fine the next thing i would do is try to install LW instead of placeing the folder in a dir..
See here and tailor it to fit your need.

Almost forgot, All that you did install was done when you were logged in as root right?
