OS X Theme

Is there a way to doctor the OS X Theme, rather than create a whole new one? There is no theme.txt in the OS theme folder. Just wanna freshen up the Search_Fade color, is all... And I should be posting in the skins forum, not the OS X forum, right?

You're welcome to add a theme.txt into the default OSX's theme's folder. Whatever additions you add will be used by LimeWire (I think).

Tweaking default OS Theme

The theme_text in the generic_theme folder uses a different template from that of the default OS X theme, so inserting it into the OS X theme folder just gives you another generic, non-OS X-looking theme. Where can I get my grubby little hands on the OS X theme_text? Just wanna make the Search_Fade gradiant look more aqua/limey.

Thanks so much for your reply. LimeWire Pro Rules!

(Now just make it compatible with WindowShade X...)

The easiest thing to do is just create a theme.txt file in the default osx folder, and insert ONLY the lines that you wish to change. If you'd like to use the template of the default theme's .txt file, you can copy that one over and insert '#' before every line except the search/fade color's line, whose values you can change at will.

What's WindowShade X? :)

OS X Theme

Inserting just the modified lines from the default (non- X) theme.text into the OS X theme folder produces a generic, non OS X theme, without even the modifications.

Again, I would simply like to doctor a theme.text in the OS X theme folder, but opening the default OS X theme folder reveals only gifs. Where is the rest of the template?

WindowShade X is a little haxie that lets you collapse or minimize or transparafy windows in OS X by modified or double clicking in the Title bar. Works well in Jaguar for every app except LimeWire.

Thanks so much again, sberlin, for your support. LimeWire Pro is really worth it!
