Default does the paid version really download faster?

or is that just a ploy to get us to buy it?

The PRO version is not really faster than Basic.

leery?--well, I'm on my third pro and don't regret the token support. There are free alternatives, but the LW folks have been really responsive and the program and network keeps getting better (see growth here.

If I think of it as a donation, it works. As a payment--it'd be pretty frustrating as LW is definitely a work in progress.

I hear you! LOL

trap_jaw--I understand that the Pro version gives one or two more connections when in leaf mode (and so theoretically more sources are found). Does Pro also increase the maximum number of hits returned on searches when in Ultrapeer mode?

If so, I'm guessing only swarmed downloads will be faster--there would be no difference with downloads from a single host, right?
