mcbain942 is on a distinguished road
Default port fowarding

I know the standard port is 6346

but other p2p clients are using other port numbers as default.

1) If i want to be linked to the most users as possible i should use port 6346
correct?

also

2) If i want to connect even more, if i set up my router to forward a number of ports to trigger to one local port , would that in essence be linking me to all p2p client networks? if so anyone have a list of these ports?

This is a two quesiton post, please reply as such

thank you

No and no.
You only need one port for each program and as long as it works it doesn't matter which port it is.
