Java plug-in

do i need to have it installed for limewire to work?

You need to have Java installed in order to use LW. If it's not, the LW installer will install Java 1.3. Which is why it's best to install with a later version of Java 1st before installing LW.
Install Java: Java 1.4.2 (click on link)
