Default What The Heck Is A M3U File??

I downloaded this program because it said it was mp3 and every time I download a song it comes through as m3u and I cannot burn these onto cd or transfer them to mp3 player. Its a frustrating to pay for something you cannot use the way it was advertised. How do I fix this please??????? anyone

I hope this does not seem unhelpful, but all I know is that an m3u file is not a music file it is a playlist file. but don't panic!

I've never encountered this particular symptom but MANY have and if you go to search (above right) and search for m3u you will find your answer.

You are downlding mp3's & m4a files. What is happening is what you the user is doing at the end. You're doing something that deceives you because you don't know what you're doing. Go to the LW Library window, select Saved Files folder & press the Explore button & your downld folder will open up for you. Within there you will see all the mp3's you've downlded. I have a suspicion you're either enqueing them to your playlist player & saving them as m3u playlist files & getting confused or you're choosing the 'other' alternative downld location & choosing m3u format. Ignor the last bit, just do what I said at the beginning & all your mp3 files should be there.

"If" you have set up separate locations to downld to for each type of media (How to Change download location), then you'll need to select the specific type under the Saved Files folder to Explore. See example below. Also to check your locations of these folders, hover your cursor over the top of the particular folder.
