I HAVE A NEW SONY 4 GIG mp3 PLAYER AND THE SONGS HAVE BEEN STORED IN MY LIMEWIRE ACCOUNT. THE PLAYER ONLY ALLOWED 200 SONGS AND IT SAYS ITS FULL. SONY SAID YOU SHOULD ONLY USE A 128 BITRATE WHILE TRANSFERING TO THE MP3 PLAYER. SOME SONGS ARE MUCH HIGHER. CAN I CHANGE THE BITRATE TO 128 FOR ALL MY SAVED SONGS ON LIMEWIRE????

MARKL1114 November 24th, 2008 10:43 AM

128 BIT SPEED FOR mp3 PLAYERS. wHERE IS THE CONTROLER FOR THIS?

MARKL1114 November 24th, 2008 10:44 AM

128 Bitspeed

How Do You Get Limewire To Go At 128 Download Speed To An Mp3 Player?

newbie

Hi all,
Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas, and Happy holiday season.

I've had some problems, but only with one item. No problem downloading, but when I go to burn, the buffer says 98% and it burns properly....however, when the buffer says 97%, it always gives me a burn error (write error) and I am wasting too many cd-r disks.

I thought if anyone had an answer as to why it does not always burn at 98% they could share it with me.

I'm on a Dell computer, with plenty of memory and ram, and using Windows XP pro.

Again, my only problem is how to get it to burn at 98%. :aweof:

Thanks and ho ho ho....time for Santa and snow to come .

Arnold

FILE Descriptions

My first impression of this network is that it is cumbersome and top heavy. Do we need this boilerplating everytime we want to start a new message. Aside from that first impression here is my problem.
When you look at the files under the Search function you see zipped files with a size of 113K. You know the program is larger than this and when you download it and unzip it, it contains a setup.exe file. If you click on this, nothing happens.
In general there are many files out there which do not represent the whole program. Am I missing something in downloading these files?
thanks

Hi, I'm not sure we're on the same page. No idea what you need, but I'm still having problems burning. Tried speeds as low as 16 and still get failures. Am wasting disks with no good reason. Gonna look into another program for burning, and see if that helps. My unit should burn at 48k.
Thanks to all for help.
Arnold

Birdy, this is what I received via email and it said you had posted an answer to my question.

Able to download, but not burn!

I really don't know what's going on... I have a brand new Gateway laptop, have Maxell CD-R discs. Somehow I manage to burn them on the CD, but the CD won't play on anything other than my computer. I have burned the same exact CDs from other music download website, so it can't be the CD. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!

Ah, I know what's happened. Yesterday I replied to somebody else's post in this thread & then moved both my post & theirs into a new thread (their post had nothing to do with this thread but if I'd moved their post before I replied - they might not have got email notification of a reply):) Even though I wasn't replying to you, you still got the email notification, because you'd posted in this thread before.

Edit - I've removed your other post about this from another thread;)

Lost all Limewire icons that post before song/video

Recently, Dec.30/08, I had to re-download my Limewire Pro.v.4.18.8, I use Windows Vista Home Premium pkg, as operating system, I have recently been downloading torrent files from "another site"...before this ALL of my music files had Limewire association, (the little icon, before the song title) now all 1000+ files DO NOT HAVE THE Limewire icon....even thought I downloaded most of these files from limewire .....
any suggestions?????? anyone

this thread is a total joke....completely out of hand with its moronic posts that don't even come close to relating to this threads original intent....too boot it was started in 2006 (ok, so it was ignored)...all posts past the original are IMHO the posts of idiots or trolls....
