Very New here w/ LW Basic
 

I am very new to Lime Wire & down loading.
This is what I have:
System:
Microsoft Windows XP
Home Edition
Version 2002
Service Pack 2

Hewlett-Packard
Pavilion
AMD Athlon(tm) XP 3200+
2.19 GHz, 512 MB of RAM
How long does it take to down load movies? Mostly kid stuff. What type of file should I down load from? Is there a difference?
I have a cable modem.
Music. Some I can not find. Why is that?

P.S. to Mods & Admin? Sorry if I haven't followed the rules? If so?

Stay away from .mov & .wma files to be on the safe side. How long it takes to download depends on file size, number of hosts you're downloading from, their speed, your speed etc.
Before you download a movie, always check the file with Bitzi
