free download that actually works
 

ive spent the past hour or so looking for a link that actually works, so far ive found nothing, it just times out...i made a call to a friend and he said he cant get it to work either :mad:

all the links ive seen others post for the Basic download does the same thing

can someone post a link that really works? (please test it)

my comp shouldnt be blocking it, but the one download i got to work said ILLEGAL when i tried to install :confused:

any help would be appreciated

if anything ill just go back to kazaa, not going to pay for anything like this when ive seen so many sites that have been nothing but Scams... :nono:

firstly, anyone who downloads software is playing a risky game...and when on a public p2p network the risk is far, far higher...using bitzi is one's only option if one wants to have any chance of success...

secondly, are you actually trying to infer that KaZaA is better than Gnutella???

A bit of a vague post. "all the links ive seen others post for the Basic download does the same thing" - What links? This person has obviously never seen the FAQ or LW manual, etc.

ive read the FAQ, and downloaded everything its told me too, but when i click the download link of limewires real page, it brings me to a blank page every time... both links time out, my comp doesnt like it one bit, theres absolutly nothing wrong with my comp btw...

but no never said kazaa was better, why do you think im trying this??

nomatter ill have some buddies over here shortly, maybe im missing something i just need another person to double check me

prolly the only 2 f'n links that you peeps say that work of limewires download page- and the other million middleman links ive had to google up looking for profit

Did you actually search "this" forum for the correct links to download the program? http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml
If you get a blank page, change browser. I presume you're using windows OS since you said you were a Kazaa user previously. Explorer isn't exactly the best browser out there.
