U.K. Flag ?

I have just installed Limewire Pro 4.13 and just to the right of 'Turbo-Charged Connection' (bottom left of screen) there is a small image of the U.K. flag. Does this mean that my searches will only yield results from the U.K. or U.K. based Limewire users ? Should be the Scottish flag anyway but that's another issue.

Not at all. Actually I thought it only changed when you changed language settings. But I'm obviously wrong. Hmm I requested something similar some time back. At least the idea being to show where the hosts are from.
Perhaps it shows where the UltraPeers you're connected to might be from. I don't know. I'm in Australia but my LW shows the USA flag. If you click on the flag you can change language options. I don't see any option for the english flag. You're using LimeWire beta or FrostWire beta? Have you checked http://www.limewire.com/english/cont..._history.shtml

What do you mean 'I don't see any option for the English flag' ? Do you mean the 'BRITISH' flag ? Besides I'm Scottish not English. Being from Australia I would have thought that you would know the difference between Britain and England. You know, United Kingdom of Great Britain i.e. Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Or have I got the wrong end of the stick here ?

You misunderstood me because I'm confused. Yes I realise you said you were scottish, what I mean is I don't see any british flag option in the language options. The only english option I see is usa flag. Are you using LW 4.13.0 or 4.13.1, because I wasn't aware there had been an update to the beta.

The only place I see anything that resembles the english flag is with the LW Jum build for mac as the image below shows. If you change language it gives an option to display it as it does for you.

Country Flags?

Hmmmm- I just checked and I do not get a flag- at all- of any type. I'm in Florida so I guess mine should be red white and blue with stars and stripes- but NO flag?
NOT that I want one...... I don't.....

If you select the change language option you have the option to show flag. ie: View menu > Change Language

I'm using LW 4.13.0 but there doesn't seem to be any difference between that and LW 4.10. What is the difference ?

hi ,noticed that you can right click on Globe at bottom of LWire, and that gives you options to accept language change, I also noticed British flag at first when I re-installed, when globe was right clicked, it changed to US flag?Doesnt seem to limit searches or results in any way tho.Does this mean that on install your country of origin is logged somewhere??
Running 4.12.6 Pro.
