Or download a fresh LPE ConnectFix copy from the Link I gave yesterday in post #278.

I am guessing Francais is the language you speak at home? :D

I guess I'll have to start from scratch. The 4 share isn't the one to download? Which one is? I'm confused, because there are so many options to chose from and as I mentioned in a previous post, the first download didn't work.

I was downloading something that had nothing to do with Limewire.

A decent reliable anti-virus software. Other security checkers such as anti-malware, anti-adware, anti-spyware. You do need to be careful of your choices because some commercial brands will give false-positives just to make you think they are doing something. Some free brands do better.

Although the post is very old, check Sleepless's post here http://www.gnutellaforums.com/gettin...ation-etc.html. Alternatively send Sleepless a message to inquire on the best ways these days.

Try this temporary link Hotfile.com: One click file hosting: LimeWirePirateEdition_Win.zip

Or for 4Shared, LimeWirePirateEdition_Win.zip - 4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download but use the blue Download button, not the green down-arrow which would download the 4Shared Desktop app.

LW's virus scanning for Windows no longer works properly. It is best to use your own computer's virus scanner instead. You can disable LW's virus scanner in options, tools, search. I think that's where it's located since I closed down my Windows several minutes ago.

AVG stopped support for LW's virus scanner end of 2010 I think it was.
