Exclamation Can Someone Help Me (Can't connect - Verizon)

Please someone help me.... i used to have dial up on my computer and i finally got sick of it...... so i ordered verizon dsl... i upgraded my limewire and i have a single green bar and Limewire is always "trying to connect" and it detects a firewall but i definitely went into my verizon security place and Allowed Limewire. Can Someone please help me... walk me through this. Im so excited to have dsl and i wanna use it!!

some DSL providers throttle (slow down) their access to gnutella networks.
I'm not sure about Verizon but it may be worth phoning a question to their help desk to find out.
