These volunteers keep the board organized and moving. Moderators are authorized to: (in order of increasing severity) Move posts to the correct forums. Many times, members post in the wrong forum. | Gnucleus 1.3.3 Yeah, and it works so much better than V1.3.2! Hardly any crashes anymore, if any! Very fast finding of search results. One shortcoming I want to mention: Downloads, which haven't started yet, are lost, when one closes the program down and restarts it! Hopefully in a future release, all downloads are kept available. Also, partial downloads do not remember which the last download IP was. Would be good if it does, cause the IP may still be up, but may not be 'found' anymore on a re-search. Good work, Gnucleus guys. AND: Your upgrade function, which the choice Yes/No is just exemplary!!! JD PS: Will one be able to change the icons one day???? For some reason I just cannot make sense of them, nor remember what they stand for - sorry - los (Laugh Out Soft) |

| I'm finding its developed a new lockup problem. When doing a search,if I click a header tab,say to grade it in speed listing,it locks up for about 20 seconds,every ingle time. Apart from that I havent noticed it connects faster,though searches do seem more thorough.

| the new version is so much stable, keep up the good work guys!!! I agree with J D a new set of icons wouldnt hurt I noticed since I leave my pc on 24/7 running gnucleus that every time I click on the failed or completed checkox on the upload tab gnucleus tends to lock up (my guess is for the great number of failed/completed files) for about 10 to 20 minutes the same happens when I try to clear all. other than that the new version rocks!!!!!!!!!! |

| After using 1.3.3.0 for a few days I have to agree it's really fantastic. Much more stable and all downloads work really well now. I think this will be the release that makes me retire some of those other Gnutella peers.  Great work Swabby and team! (I've had the same problem with the "failed" list though. I think the problem is it has no limits on how many items it keeps in memory and, if it builds up too many, it causes the list box to gag displaying them all.) |

| what i would like to see In addition to some new toolbar ico's, if gnucleus could add the number of uploads and downloads in progress to the tool tips for the minimized window titlebar and icon. Currently it shows "Gnucleus -" and "Gnucleus" respectivly. I think it would be more informative and useful if it showed "Gnucleus - 3u/1d" or some such. When surfing on a slow connection i try not to do things when people are uploading, and i can't tell if my download is finished without checking the transfer window. The other P2P clients i use (except limewire) have this feature to various extents already. thanks for the great work! -foo |
