WJView Error

I download the beta version 2.85 of limewire...everything was fine. One day I booted up my system and got a Wjview Error: java.lang.noclassdeffound error. I uninstalled limewire 2.85 and then tried to uninstall limeshop but I could not and got the same Wjview error in trying to uninstall Limeshop. Limeshop will not uninstall from my system!! I then deleted all limeshop and limewire folders from my c: drive that were left over from my uninstall and rebooted my system.

Now I get a WJView error: Could not execute main: The system cannot find the file specified.

Next I tried to reinstall limewire beta version 2.85 thinking that it would download limeshop and then I could uninstall....wrong...limeshop would not reinstall. I am still getting the WJView error: Could not execute main: The system cannot find the file specified whenever my system is rebooted.

Please Help!!!

WJVIEW

I am having the same problem. I installed LimeWire for the first time today, and when rebooting windows recieved the same errors. I have successfully removed LimeWire and Java, but I can not remove LimeShop. I clicked on add/remove programs, then when clicking on remove remove LimeShop I received the same WJVIEW: Main error. Please help!!

fixed it!!!!

Click on run from start menu. Run regedit and click on view. Then click find. Type in lime. This will highlight all files with the word lime in it. Press F3 to find next lime file and F3...delete...F3...delete...ect... Delete every f@#*ing file that says limewire and limeshop. Then reboot.

Advice: STAY AWAY FROM LIMEWIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WJ View Error

After many hours of trying to get rid of this error in windows XP, I finally fixed the problem. Go to c/windows/system 32. In there you will find this persisitant error. Simply delete WJ View and upon re-booting the problem should be gone!

OŽBoy! If so, you have deleted MS Command line interpreter for Java. Not good at all. In worst case you have to reinstall XP in order to get java to function again. Dont perform any drastic action like that, start to ask around instead, before you doing anything.

WJ View Error re:

What does the MS command line interpreter do for Java script ? I have not noticed anything happening to my OS and I have not had to reload XP. Besides I did ask around and that was the answer I received! Well I did not really ask I found it somewhere on the web and I cannot remember from whom or where. Also you did not give a solution on how to rid of that kind of WJ View error. Any ideas?

Let me first of all say, that im not on XP, but on Win98SE

No No not Java script, just Java see if you can play any Java applets game somewhere. Try this http://www.arcadepod.com/java

Strange i havent experienced any problem with that version you are mentioning. The problem started with 2.9.0 Alpha version of Limewire. any how run regedit look through this path
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsofts/Windows/CurentVersion/run. If you see something with LimeShop at the right part of window, see if you can find in the line something that mention Wjview, if that so mark it and delete it. Ok for now

wj view error

Thanks for your help. It seems to me, like so many other applications in XP the results are entirely different. I have removed the WJ view error without damaging anything else as far as I can see. Per your advice I went to www.arcadepod.com/java and played several games with complete success! Thanks again.
