LimeWire 2.8.6 Beta?

I was just on verison tracker and I came upon this LimeWire 2.8.6 beta
I went to LimeWire's download page and I dont even see it, still 2.8.5. What the hell?

Waiting patiently....

Yes, What's the scoop LimeWire Team

2.8.6 beta is long overdue!!

2.8.6 fixes the issue that made poor ultrapeers in the 2.8.x series. I suppose there are small bugfixes also.

Spoke too soon....

....Just noticed the 2.8.6 beta, thanks LimeWire Team. :)

What about adding the latest beta version of LimeWire to: http://www.limewire.com/index.jsp/download_beta. Thanks

2.8.6 is not a beta it is the version you download on the download page even if it is written 2.8.5. To see the stable versions of LW see www3.limewire.com/download/ , version 2.8.6 is listed there, so it is what you download.

et voilą, LimeWire did not post the update on their site when I saw this link from versiontracker. Second, versiontracker had 2.8.6 down as beta and now that i see it on LimeWire's site, i see that it is not beta. Thank you

versiontracker has it wrong, and limewire didn't update the number on limewire dl page. when there is a beta, there is a link on lw dl page. thanks and versiontracker isn't always right.... also it is not limewire team that send new versions to versiontracker everytime, some user do.

I have never had any problems with Limewire before but this new update 2.8.6 when I'm looking at my connection window limewire shuts off for no reason. Its has done this MANY times. It has to be a bug and should be fixed b4 2.8.6 gets any more popular.:D

I know LimeWire didn't have it on there page, thanx for stating the obvious i was simply asking a question why did versiontracker have it then like an hour later LimeWire had it on there site.. And where there is a beta, LimeWire does put a link on the bottom of the PRO download page saying "try out this new beta".
