| contraband, doing all this blitzy stuff is like i need a degree in rocket scientry.. there's gotta be like 1 or 4 clicks to send a song?... like whazzupo w/ registering/signing in....then when I do,...there's no option to SEND A SONG TO A FRIEND. THAT'S ALL I want to do is send a friggin song to a friend,...not figure out the trajectory of the friggin space shuttle thru NASA's flight plan... that link you gave SUCKS..... |

| Is creating & sending magnet links too difficult to understand? It's a lot easier than direct connecting. |

| That link has 3 parts: 1. Bitzi, 2. Direct Connect, 3. Magnet Links Quote: "Go to your LimeWire Library window, select the file you wish to send, Right-click (Control-click for mac users) & select Magnet Details for file, & your browser will open & give you the details of the magnet link. Use the link opposite the 'Magnet' word. Then copy & paste this link address & email or send it via chat to your friend. They can copy & paste this magnet link address into their browser & the browser will send the details to their LW which will immediately open & start to downld the file." For direct connecting, (1) you need to know your friend's ip address. Once you have it, (2) select direct connect search type, you type the ip address into the direct connect search type box. (3) Press search. 'Your' ip address will be listed above the search box. If it isn't then 'you' probably have a firewall problem. Well if I had have seen your last post I wouldn't have bothered. There's other people who are looking for help. |

| You use the one listed at the top of the magnet box: it will be titled like this eg: magnet:?xt=urn:sha1:KS7.....(filename) &xs=http:\\234.234.32.3:6346..... BTW I'm not sure it's possible to downld a magnet link from yourself. I mean it's already in your library. A magnet link is simply giving a direct link to your particular LimeWire address & particular file. |
