Cool downloads that skip

i am new to computers and the language, this is what i know? i have windows home version, wirless through chartercable, when i download some songs and replay them, the songs skip. i have lw free version

Do you preview the songs during download & do they skip then? If you're using the LW player, try disabling it (it's awful) thru tools > options > player. Make something else your default player & see whether the songs sound better

Try downloading songs with a higher bitrate (better quality) & always preview during download.
