First, get your player(s) ready by making sure you have the necessary CODECs installed to play your movies. I use a Windows Media Player CODEC pack from download.com, and I'm certain there are many other sites where you can find free CODECs. (i.e., don't pay for them!).

I have had best results with AVI files (though I've had to tell each of my friends to download the CODEC pack after they complain of sound with no pic). Many of my best videos (at least 250 of them) are from 'aXXo' (at the end of the filename). However, certainly not all aXXo files are good (other people have begun to use his name), so he now uses 'Leetay'. So, try searching 'axxo' and 'leetay'.

Before downloading anything, be sure to check it with Bitzi (described in this Forum); it's easy. Enjoy!

To get any file to play on DVD player you need a program to convert the file to DVD. Nero, DVD Santa, DVD Flick.
I use Nero most of the time. Some files won't initially work on Nero (Mpg, AVI). I refrain from downloading MOV or Mpeg4 files. I then will use Videdeowave 5 Power Edition to convert the file to Mpeg 2. Nero will usually convert and burn this format in half the time.

Most downloads are DIVX. Fine for PC as long as you have the codecs. Some DVD players can play that format. Otherwise need to convert to DVD.

Dvd's also play other format's like (Wma).(Wma) is pretty good but not as good as (DivX) Though.Hey if any one here know's of a good Movie Converter that do's not put there brand name in the movie after they have converted than let us know about it.

Oh and if it's free even better.
