hi, i mistakenly downloaded the beta version of limewire 4.17.4 had no end of trouble since doing so. it seemed to uninstall., but i keep getting a window popping up saying this - LimeWire version 4.17.4

STARTUP ERROR!

this window conitinuously. i tried installing another limewire, but then get msg telling me it won't install because there is another version of limewire open in another folder. i did find a version of limewire in downloaded programmes but won't let me uninstall it. i tried restoring pc to an earlier date before installing the beta 14.7.4 but with no luck. anybody else this had this problem? i really don't want to have to format pc if i can help it,but until i can fix this problem i cannot reinstall limewire. i would be grateful if anyone can help.
