CPU usage at 100%
 

Why is it that my cpu usage is consistently at 100% when using this program? Is there any way to resolve it?

This is usually caused by a bad Java Install, but not always.

If you can't find any answers post again. include all relevant info. Limewire and Java version etc.

could this be because your files are being indexed - see on the status bar it has your up and down stream in KB/s next to that there's the green/yellow/red circle with a number in it. if that's not green, your files are being indexed. this would necesserily consume resources

While using LW:
Tools > Options > Advanced > Performance
place a check mark in: Disable TLS Capabilities

This solved my problem and keeps it between (20-40)

Good i was just going to say that this is on the new 4.16. it will use less CPU.
