84 sources, connecting,need more sources

:bangh:

Thats what happens alot, my search gets a million hits, i download one with like 80 sources, I get connecting, then need more sources. On my sons computer, he said when he clicks to d/l an internet explorer window comes up, but i forget wgat he said happens.
I'm sure its a flooding of some sort to stop the downloading of this particular item. I even pick the lower ones with lesser sources and its always the same. I also tried searching for "all" rather than just video or music.
Anyone know what I mean and what I can do?

Please do not double post the same question in multible threads !!

Files appearing with a lot of hosts (i.e. 20 and more) are most likely faked files you won't be able to download. Stay away from them.
You should check the files using the Bitzi function before you download them:
How to use Bitzi

As for the problem of your son, updating LW to the newest version will get rid of this problem of being redirected. You can download the newest client here:

Would someone please answere the question posted. I would like to know why I can't get certain downloads also. I can hunt for hours, for a couple of single songs. There will be single, multiple ect. listings.I can try to download and still come up. Connecting>>need more sources or Connecting >>>busy>>need more sources. And this will continue on numorous searches. Any tips on how to get theese listed downloads. Thanx Skeetr

@ David Williams

There is a Sticky in this forum, that explains a lot about this issue and has ways to get around it.

It's called "How to find music", and if you bothered to look before posting, you probably would not have needed to post.

If you still, after reading the Sticky, feel the need to get answers to some of these questions, then feel free to post a followup. Also please say if something that you wanted to know is not covered in there.
