File History A few weeks ago, I downloaded a file that got lost during my customary clean up of the Hard Disk, but I can't seem to remember it's name or any keywords that I might be able to use to find it. I was wondering if Limewire had any sort of 'history' feature that logs all of the searches or downloads made within a certain time period, or if there's any program that I might use to trace it. Edit: If it's any help, I would like to add that I'm running the Windows XP free version. |
Afaik, LW keeps a history of the searches you've made while your using it, but once you shut it down that history is cleared. I don't know of a way to get it back. Maybe someone else will have a suggestion. Have you tried searching for the file extension. If it's an mp3, try searching for .mp3, there'll probably be a lot of them but you should be able to find it. To search go from your Desktop > Start > Search > All Files and Folders >.mp3. |
