OK, so it just closes. Try updating to the newest version released today.

- Uninstall Morpheus 4.2
- Delete the Streamcast folder in program files (Moving the "Downloads" and "My Sharing Folder" to the desktop so you don't loose any files)
- Go to: www.morpheus.com and Download Morpheus 4.3 Build 267, and install it.
- Run it and tell me if you still experience these problems.
- Place all the files from your "Downloads" folder on the desktop in the new "Downloads" folder in the "Streamcast" folder

Hope this helps!

i still have the same problem

OK, what you could do is, try sharing one folder at a time with about 50 files in it and then once Morpheus is sharing them, try sharing another file with 50 files etc... and see if Morpheus terminates like before.

And you are sure you have Morpheus 4.3 ?

swimkid September 24th, 2004 05:11 PM

yes i had morpheus 4.3.

i have almost 2000 mp3's i don't really want to seperated it into increments of 50.

ok, well... i can't see any reason why it would close up because of that, but i'll get back to you if i find an answer :)

thanks

i get a runtime error and then it say abnormal termination. and it seems to only happen when i try to import a shared folder with more than 100 or so files. it has no problem with 50.

veryy strange.

hi swimkid,

thanks for the feedback. i haven't reproduced it yet, but will try a some more configurations tomorrow.

Does it only happen with mp3's or have you tried other file types? If it's only mp3's we can narrow it down to the id3 lib support added.

thanks

swimkid September 27th, 2004 05:23 PM

most of the files are mp3's but i have 20 or so video files. But when it crashes i think it only has time to proccess around 100 mp3's
