Update on Morpheus SUCKY gnutella support for Kayaman, Risky and the Troll (Vampmon). I tested gnucDNA 1.1.0.9 or gnucleus CVS version of 29th october 2004. I had three computers on a lan with open ports. One limewire sharing the gnucleus.exe and one gnucleus sharing the same file. All ports were open. I made a gnutella magnet of the style with the port of the computer sharing the file.
magnet:?xt=urn:sha1:4YCX4HT4LJ3UVN7II6ICEYRBLUFNRA ZP&dn=Gnucleus_2.0.2.1.exe&xs=http://xx.xxx.xxx.xxx:xxxx/uri-res/N2R?urn:sha1:4YCX4HT4LJ3UVN7II6ICEYRBLUFNRAZP

Then I put the magnet in a browser. The LW test node can download only from the LW node. When the LW node attempts to dl from the Gnucleus node, the transfer window of Gnucleus says connected then cancel the transfer. NOW that sucks even more than I thought. First GnucDNA aren't giving results in searches, two gnucDNA doesn't let transfers to LW and Bearshares as also confirmed there: http://c0re.net/dnaforum/viewtopic.php?t=367

Stop it! If the Morpheus people that can't help John Marshall debug HIS code, then don't use it. As usual, you are LEECHERS  Oh and Die Streamcast!

Ciao

John Marshall replied in the c0re.net forum (thread above) and said he fixed the transfer problem in CVS. Fine one problem probably resolved, dozens to go

Limewire changed their casing of download headers, so who's fault is it really? :P Shouldn't LW also be testing compatibility with gnucDNA and vice versa?

Morpheus doesn't even use this code yet to public -- it is still in testing phase , but thanks for pointing it out and it was resolved immediately.

"streamcast you leech" , you're funny ;-)

addition:
LW purposely blocks Morpheus , you should ease up a bit.
Although this is a bug, it's code not even released to public.
You act like LW doesn't make mistakes.... LW for many months was sending improper headers that John Marshall pointed out to them... but i don't see us going to LW forum to push in their face.

et voila, any attacks in this thread will be deleted. We really appreciate your positive feedback and pointing out problems in gnucDNA... but i did delete your very rude thread you followed up with and it's within the Mod privileges as far as im concerned.

Here is a copy of the message I wrote you deleted.
LOL! I prefer to stay out of these things but hey, it's fun! :D Very wise et voilà. ;) And I can't disagree that there's an issue or many with Morph at present. Be nice to see it be a bit more p2p friendly. ;)

Troll Alert

The only way to deal with trolls is to limit your reaction to reminding others not to respond to trolls.

GnucDNA is absolutely open source, anyone, and everyone are free to use it, when and how they please. There are so many clients out there that use GnucDNA that don’t provide any help towards the project***. With Morpheus, that is a different story.

Exactly. And you know why, troll. If you forgot, reread my other threads with you and Kayaman. That should occupate you for a couple of days
