Morpheus

Has anyone heard for certain, if Morpheus will stay with Gnutella, or if this move is temporary on their part?

And do they have plans to develop their own Gnutella software, or will they continue to use the Gnucleus software while they are here?

P.S. Welcome to Gnutella. :)

I think they are going to stay, as he said, they no longer have the license for Fasttrack.

I am pleased they have decided to join us, the bigger the Gnutella community the better.
As long as everybody plays nice, Gnutella will continue getting stronger.

I think there's another Morpheus preview released. As far as I heard, it hasn't changed much.

Rumour is they still have a complete new 2.0 client in development, probably by REBOL, to be released in a couple of weeks.

I hope it implements UltraPeers...

I just hope it works better, or is this the network we are going to have to get use to? I think going back to thier old interface would be nice as well.

I'd like to be able to connect and download from someone for more then 2 minutes at a time, and download faster then 1.0k. I never have a problem connecting to servers. Downloading, well that's another story.

I've checked out "Clean limewire" (the only one I could see that doesnt have scumware on it) and they have major resume problems with their latest versions.

btw/ does anyone know why I get "Remotely canceled" from certain connections? Would this be an anti-leaching thing as i'm sharing well over 50 files?
