regarding downloading

i would like to ask regarding downloading with morpheus.
I downloaded the morpheus ultra which i get from this site. thanks to file girl, she walk me through everything and finally i was connected with both gnutella and neonet.
While downloading i noticed that some file will say receiving from 1 host but the speed remained 0 b/s. i wonder if it was realy receiving/ downloading anything since the % doesn't change at all. also why is it that it queued most of the time.
is it because i'm using a wireless connection?
i appreciate all your comment. thanks

Queued means that the host is busy uploading to others , and puts your upload into the queue line, so you'll have to wait till your turn. Sometimes it can be 1 hour or even more. You can do one of the following:
1. Right-click on the active download, click on 'Get More Sources' . This will make search for other hosts having the same identical file .
OR
2. select another file/host from the search results. Try to get from a non-firewalled source. You can check this by right-clicking on the search result and click on 'File Availability' .

This is what you see when right-click in search result.

Hi:) From what i see from what you say her, is you probably hit Foxy client... Foxy is from Taiwan, from a company named Foxy, Inc!These Foxy don't let you download from them, but they can download from you...You can also be a victim for bad peer's/faker's and spammer's as well... To come around this you can use PeerGuardian 2 with good blocklist's.....Take a look here: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/genera...d-clients.html The links provide both PeerGuardian 2 and the block list from iblocklist.com...It's easy to install and use,and it protect your internet connection from Antip2p gones....Unless that host has really Firewall problem...:w00t: To avoid downloading from Foxy do as followed: after you have done a search go from top to buttom...Click on a file you wanna download and click on it and use right mouse button and you will get a small menu up, and click on "File Availability" from there you will see the host's for that file... If its only say Foxy, forget it, if its say Foxy, Shareaza or LimeWire it's a chanse you get it down...Some of the search result will look like this : 1"34¤%56&&/()==&/&%*,mp3 - if it do it's because it comes from Foxy to... Morpheus does not support Unicode or Unix, so it is not handel chinise verry well...

After you start getting results frm Foxy , its better to disconnect , and connect back again ( right-click on morpheus icon in system tray )
Then you'll start get more results from morpheus and shareaza clients .

As Morpheus5x say's above in his post does actually works, when your search is flodded bye Foxy result..... But if you have/had connection issue before, be carefull to use this to often you can find your self not able to reconnect to the network's.... I have a found another way to achive the same result with out disconnect and then reconnect... Her is what to do: Go to Morpheus Preferences tab and open Prefernces screen and take a look on General... Now you should see Search history options below... The are two checkboxe's.... First one say's "Clear search history on exit"... The second one say's "Disable search history"...Now there is a button named "Clear search history"...It doesn't matter if your Morpheus has be running for hours or just start running, you must click on that button named Clear search history on time...Now enable the checkbox the one say's "Disable search history" Now click Apply and OK, you are now done... What you have no done is flushing out Morpheus search memory let say... It won't include to many search result from Foxy, but more from the native clients who runs on Gnutella and G2...Foxy are no not able to flodd the Morpheus memory, and that is why your search result will be acceptable clean!!! EDIT: Unfortunly it is not a bullet proof method this one, or Morpheus5x's either, but it helps enny way-and Do Not keep pushing the "search more button" to many times... It will mess up your search result again....
