 zoeken mislukt hallo allemaal, omdat ik hier nieuw ben en er echt niets van snapt heb ik iemands hulp nodig... ik heb een probleem met zoeken, hij blijft zoeken en er gebeurt niets. dit duurt erg lang en resultaten blijven uit. weet iemand de oplossing??? alvast bedankt!  |

| Gebruik je een router en/of firewall? Zo ja welke, laat dit even weten en wellicht kun je dan beter geholpen worden. |

| hoi, i.i.g. bedankt voor je reactie. ik heb er niet echt veel verstand van maar mijn router is van linksys wireless B en de firewall van windows... ik hoop echt dat je me verder kan helpen. mvg Johan |

| Er is een erg uitvoerige draad in het Engelstalige Limewire gedeelte op dit forum : Connection problems? Check here first! Als je ergens niet uitkomt laat je het dan even weten ? |

| matthijs, De Windows firewall is geloof ik niet zo'n geweldig ding. Waarom installeer je niet gewoon Zonealarm ? dat is een prima gratis firewall die bovendien makkelijk in te stellen is. Download eerst zonealarm : http://www.zonelabs.com/store/conten...=dbtopnav_zass Klik op free download. Nu de Windows firewall uitzetten: Ga naar : Start > Instellingen > Configuratiescherm > Netwerkverbindingen Klik op je netwerk verbinding > Tabblad algemeen > klik op eigenschappen. Een nieuw eigenschappen scherm komt tevoorschijn. Ga naar het tabblad geavanceerd en haal het vinkje weg bij "Firewall voor internet verbindingen" en klik op OK Sluit ook het schermpje "status van ...... verbinding" Nu Zonealarm installeren. Als je Zonealarm geinstalleerd hebt, en je start Limewire, dan krijg je 3 keer een schermpje van zonealarm te zien met betrekking tot Limewire. Vink alle 3 keer remember this descision aan en klik op allow. Limewire zou dan nu goed moeten werken |

| ik heb nu zonealarm erop maar ik krijg nu bij limewire deze text. fout uw computer schijnt geen actieve verbinding met het internet te hebben of een firewall blokkeert limewire de toegang tot internet. limewire zal automatisch proberen om u met het netwerk te verbinden tenzij u verbinding verbreken onder bestand selecteert en dan krijg ik dus 1 groene en 4 rode balkjes wat ik eerst ook had en hij verbind niet. bij zonealarm staat bij limewire 4 vtjes. btw bedankt voor het helpen raaf |

| Hmmm, Je hebt dus de Windows firewall uitgezet ? Als dat zo is dan zou er eventueel nog een firewall in een router of modem kunnen zitten. Kun je vertellen hoe je computer op het internet is aangesloten en met welk merk + type router en of modem ? |
